Discussing The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
The consensus of opinion was that The Midnight Library was an uplifting book, giving us lots to think about and new perspectives on life, love, independence and following our dreams.
It seemed to say that the grass is not always greener, and the snippets of philosophy were very well incorporated so that they were thought proviking and not preachy.
Those who listened to it on Audible found the narrator (Carey Mulligan) had a very engaging style of delivery. It emerged as quite a favourite with our the book club. Our chat remains in the Library for anyone to read through what was discussed.
I fully expect our next book to be eye opening, providing a perspective that most of us would not otherwise get on the oldest trade in the world. Over to you Eve.
