Book Group 7 months, 3 weeks agoI have finished ‘book 1’ and I’m onto the 2nd book now. The 2 authors thing is seamless. The first twist took me totally by surprise, I was caught out making assumptions and was I wrong. There is an all pervading menace to the book which has definitely increased now I am half-way in.

BOOK GROUP 8 months agoWell I have downloaded the book and am about to start reading.
As well as losing myself in the plot – which I’m gathering is packed with surprises because we are told not to assume we know the ‘anatomy’ of a love triangle – I shall be wondering how two authors write together.

BOOK GROUP 8 months agoI’m really disappointed that life got in the way this time, I’m still only 3/4 of the way through. I love how Alice has been written so far and the bond between the book girls is wonderful.

I can’t wait for them to be able to stay with the inlaws!

Ha Ha! I just tried audible for the first time and loved it! I may stay with it (past the free 1 month trial) so that I can juggle my book consumption!)

I find it fantastic value for money – for one credit I got the whole Sherlock Holmes collection! The only downside for me is they don’t have family bookshelf, unlike Kindle where you can share books throughout you household.

I am so delighted you can join us! Much as we love our children, having a break from them is a blissful ‘pass’ to much needed me time! If you want to join on Thursday to get a feel for things, please do. Maybe it’ll make you want to read ‘stars’ which I honestly feel enhanced my life!

BOOK GROUP 8 months, 2 weeks agoWell I’ve listened to it a few times to make sure its sunk in, and I’ve really enjoyed it. I haven’t read any of her other books, I can’t wait for the chat next week!
I will say I recommended it to my mum because I enjoyed it so much.

I read Me Before You also and found it intensely sad, but hers aren’t always quite as heavy as that. I can’t think of one that I’ve read by Jojo Moyes that didn’t have some kind of secret in it. - Load More
