Captain’s Girl
ParticipantThat is so vague. Are you in a relationship and trying to incorporate D/s? Are you trying to learn as part of a career? Do you want to be a club girl? What is your goal beyond “be submissive”?

Captain’s Girl
ParticipantOk. I am zero help to you. My experience in D/s is only with my husband, and we had been together for 15+ years before we decided to get into the lifestyle. Maybe some of the people who have been here longer will have some suggestions.

ParticipantThere are a lot of books and websites that will introduce you to the topics. Look for ones that speak to you. The classic is by Jay Wiseman: SM 101: A Realistic Introduction. I just bought a book “submissive reflection” on submissiveguide.com, which has a lot of resources, but take everything with a grain of salt – what works for me may not for you.
Enjoy the journey- even if it is frustrating to know where to start. You are only new to this for a little while! You are so lucky to know what you want, and be brave enough to act on it!
Safety is most important- if something doesn’t feel right, it isn’t. Learn the difference between submitting and being abused!
