Hi All, I am new here and would like to introduce myself. I am in a monogamous marriage for 15 years. For the past seven years or so my Husband and I have been playing around with BDSM in the bedroom. In the past few months we have been moving into a more D/s lifestyle. We have created Rules and Rituals and have each bought a journal which we use to debrief and to work on the Dom sub Workbook that Missy created. We absolutely love what it is doing for our marriage and our four children constantly comment on how nice we are to each other. I was drawn to this club of like-minded people because I admire the respect and honesty that takes place here, in all forums. (This is something unique that I have not seen on other sites.) I am so grateful to HL and Missy for creating this space. I hope that this is a place where I can connect and ask questions as we progress on this journey. I live in the Middle East so the timing may be off and I won’t normally be able to participate in the live discussions but I hope that I can be an active member of the community nevertheless. Thank you for having me here!
Hi, ElleMay! I don’t know many people here yet……. my husband and I just joined about a month ago. We are DD and D/s…..kind of a mix. Sweethearts married over 30 years. I just wanted to say hello to you and welcome you. I hope to see you around the site! 🙂 Windy
Welcome to the site ElleMay. As Windy mentioned this site caters to married D/s, so you have come to the right place! My wife and I have been together for 22 years, but only D/s for the last 2 or so. Hopefully the timing will work out so you can make it to either the US or the UK chats. We would love to have you there! If you have any question, feel free to ask. We are pretty casual here, so please jump right in!

Thank you for the welcome MPL. I’d love to hear more about the US chats. I’m two hours ahead of the UK and seven hours ahead of Eastern Standard US time. Maybe something can work out.
We have chat’s on Friday nights at 9pm EST, so it will be pretty early in the morning for you I’m afraid (4am)… If you can’t sleep or are an early riser you are more than welcome to join us. The UK chats are on Sundays and Tuesdays at 8pm GMT, so you could probably make those. Many of the US folks joins as well since it is in the afternoon for us.

It was great to meet you in the main lounge today. My Sir and I live in Australia and so, like you, are in and out at odd times. We have been married 38 years and only discovered D/s two years ago. We have grown so much since joining the SWC early last year. As you said the group is very supportive , honest and friendly, something difficult to find elsewhere.
Hopefully we will catch up sometime. The chat you caught up on today is an unofficial regular one that some US members have graciously put time aside for, to catch up with a few of us on the other side of the world. We jump on around 12:30 Friday Australian eastern standard time.

It is pretty amazing that aside from connecting over our lifestyle choice, we can also connect with people from different cultures all over the world. I have been reading and listening to lots of podcasts since my Husband and I started taking the dive into 24/7. Somehow I stumbled onto Missy’s blogs and from everything else it spoke most to me. So I am glad I found this space and am happy to be here!
Hi ElleMay! Great to have you. I’m from the US and MrM is from Singapore but we live in Hong Kong. We’ve got 2 young kids (1.5 and 3 years old). We’ve been married for almost 6 years and just got into D/s late last year. This community has been super helpful and supportive and I’ve made some lovely friends. The timing of the chats doesn’t work great for me; maybe I will catch you around when I pop on at odd times!
Hi Eden! Thanks for reaching out. Yes, being in a different time zone can be challenging but is so much easier with technology! I am also from the US and now live in Israel so I have that challenge keeping in touch with my siblings and parents as well. I have 4 children, ages 6-14 so it seems like we both also have the challenge of living this lifestyle with children in house:) I look forward to getting to know you!
